3terres Festival

La Fundación Cultural CdM, Centro Internacional para la Música, Tradition and Heritage of the Crown of Aragon, constitutes the valorization of a musical heritage of remarkable importance for the western art history. In this regard, its proposals have a very positive effect on society, with obvious repercussions in the cultural and social spheres. Starting from a historical reality between the 12nd century until the beginning of the 18th of a geopolitical, cultural and social structure known as the Crown of Aragon, the FCCdM protects, spreads, recovers and enhances the musical and cultural heritage generated in the territory and boosts its internationalization.

To achieve its objectives, the International Center for Music, Tradition and Heritage of the Crown of Aragon develops several projects and action programs on research, promotion, dissemination, training and production of proposals on music, heritage and tradition. Among all of them, the trajectory of diffusion and search of Capella de Ministrers stands out; the MHA Festival – Music, History and Art; the project of recovery of the instruments of the musician angels of the Metropolitan Headquarters of Valencia; the International Academy and Festival Early Music Morella from which a new proposal of territorial vertebration linked to the natural and architectural heritage that the districts of Matarraña, Els Ports, Maestrat, Lower Aragon and Terres de l’Ebre (‘Lands of the Ebro’) have in common. From the link that marked the epicenter of Morella with the Maestrazgo and its commercial ties that reached the Mediterranean, with a 21st century perspective, it is empowered with a new cultural dimension that, with a focus on experiences encompasses tourism, gastronomy, history and heritage.

The FCCdM thus fosters local and community dissemination and the internationalization of culture from research and experimentation and from the lands of what was the epicenter of the Crown of Aragon thus favoring the links between the population, bringing and stimulating culture and the communication with direct relationships between historical populations and the cultural bonding between territories that share a past and a common present. The 3 Terres festival is dedicated to the music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque between July and August of each year. We propose to each participant population sharing the synergies generated together with Early Music Morella http://www.culturalcomes.net/en/presentacion, thus building a new singular cultural proposal adapted to each urban nucleus and with the diffusion that this platform provides.
