HISTORY AND MUSIC CONGRESS

The Fundació Cultural CdM announces the celebration of the Congress History and Music – Morella 2024, which will take place in the town of Morella (Castellón, Spain) on 22 and 23 July 2024.
Focused on the spiritual world, tradition and folklore, coinciding with the 55th Sexenni of Morella. Rituals are key elements in human culture, transmitting beliefs and values from generation to generation. This conference will explore instrumental practices, medieval and renaissance music theory, music writing and notation, as well as the mutual influence between oral and written music. A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich musical and cultural history of the region.
All activities are free admission.
