El Grial
In 2018, the FCCdM participated in the production of the audiovisual presentation of “El Grial, Música y literatura medieval en torno al Santo Grial” the latest discographic work by Capella de Ministrers in close collaboration with the Turismo Comunidad Valenciana (TCV).
The musical proposal presented by Capella de Ministrers goes beyond legend and medieval literature to connect directly with the audience, revealing the true meaning of the Grail. A journey through the music that shapes the path across the centuries, from crusade songs to chants of pilgrimage centers, or the reflection of medieval literature in music, to the emblematic symbolism it acquired with Alfonso the Magnanimous. Capella de Ministrers compiles music and poetry from the Middle Ages around Chrétien de Troyes, Robert de Boron, Wolfram von Eschenbach, and Hélinand de Froidmont. It is music and poetry with a theme linked to the Grail that invites us to find its meaning as a personal quest through the knowledge of our past through musical recreation.
