Continuing Professional Development for Teachers

Didactic Applications of Medieval and Renaissance Music

Didacticos

In addition to its artistic and heritage dimension, the Foundation has consolidated, since its inception, a significant
pedagogical and training component aimed at both professional musicians and students, as well as teachers of
music and arts education. It has continuously developed specialized training activities in historically informed performance, musical heritage, early music pedagogy, and pedagogical resources related to medieval and Renaissance music, integrating research, performance practice, and educational outreach.

Seminars, workshops, masterclasses, conferences, and pedagogical meetings have been held, led by renowned national and international specialists, fostering methodological updates and the exchange of experiences among teachers, performers, and researchers. These training activities have contributed to the dissemination of historical musical heritage and the incorporation of new didactic approaches in the field of music education, thus reinforcing its commitment to the ongoing training of teachers and consolidating a stable line of collaboration with educational institutions.
