Renaissance and Baroque Festival
Early Music festival of Orihuela
The city of Orihuela, under the heading of “Renaissance and Baroque Spring”, presents ¡the music of the 16th and 17th centuries; the audience will travel to these times in different venues of the city and live, feel and listen to international soloists and early music ensembles. A historical-musical and cultural tour combining music, architecture, tradition and heritage of the city, using for its interpretation historically informed criteria and historical instruments. The scenarios where the concerts will be held are Renaissance and Baroque monuments of the city protected for its cultural interest (BIC), and will assure us an idyllic atmosphere to recreate the music of the past.
